Accommodation
You can select from the following accommodation options:
Host family
Our students and interns reside with selected host
families who live at most a 10-minute walk from the
school. The families provide furnished single rooms
with 2 or 3 meals per day as well as laundry service.
Moreover, living with a host family accords you an excellent
opportunity to utilize and improve your acquired Spanish
skills and learn more about the local culture. Students
often form close friendships with their host families
that endure long after the student's stay has come to
an end.
You will be picked up from the airport in Quito
and brought to your selected accommodations. Students
are free to bring along their friend to live with the
host family. Please note any special dietary needs (if
you are a vegetarian, for example) and allergies when
you register, so that your host family can accommodate
these.
Hostel
We cooperate with a hostel in the center of Quito which
offers simple but clean rooms. There are numerous stores,
bars, restaurants, and other venues in the vicinity
of the hostel. The school is about a 20-minute bus ride
from the hostel.
Hotel
If you prefer, we can also accommodate you in a contemporary, clean hotel in the modern quarter of Quito. All rooms have a bathroom, cable TV, and telephone. It is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel to the school.
Transfer
If you book your accommodations in Quito through us, the transfer from the Quito Airport (UIO) is included in the price.
