Registration

Once you made the decision to take a language course with Academia Columbus, please fill out our registration form and send it per mail or fax. You are also welcome to fill out the online application.

Once we receive your booking than you will get a written letter of your booking confirmation and the legally mandatory travel documents with information about the language school, accommodation and other suggestions.

Registration period

We do not have any registration periods. Generally spoken, the earlier you book the better it is. As sometimes the desired language courses and accommodations are already booked out especially in the main season (June - September).

Arrival- and Departure

Arrival time is on a Sunday before the start of the language course and departure is Saturday after language course is finished. You are welcome to book extra nights.

Holidays

In all schools will the classes on a "legal holiday" of the country cancelled. There will be no replacement. The holidays where there is no class, are tailored on the price lists of the individual school to our best knowledge and beliefs. The price of the course/accommodation will not be reduced because of these holidays.

Flexibility

Our language courses are very flexible and can be arranged to your liking. At any time you can combine different courses and accommodations. You cut book for example for the first 4 weeks an intensive course in a group instruction class and accommodations with a family hostess with all inclusive, and after this you can have 2 weeks of private lessons as a standard course and accommodations with a family hostess, with breakfast and one meal included.

Language course and travel/holiday

Lots of our students combine there language tour with a holiday. Our team, which also likes to travel, can give you many suggestions on travelling to the individual country.

Price difference

Price difference between the individual schools e.g. course location are not to be set equal with the quality we have to offer. Cost of living as well as rates of exchange has a strong influence on the price.

Tax deduction

Language course, who serves advanced training and/or education and further education for none- practiced profession, can basically be valid as a tax deduction (advertising costs). The concrete acknowledgment is a decision of the tax office. Please get advice before your booking, with your tax consultant or financial institution.

Permission to entry the country

We are always updating our knowledge on the latest permission to entry the individual country of our partner schools and pass this information with best of our belief on to you. Please call us for more information or ask the relating embassy or consulate of the respective country.

Certification

All students will get an official certificate off successful participation once they finished there language course.
